Ainsley House

Ainsley House is a museum in Campbell built with Tudor Cotswold design influences and Arts and Crafts style details throughout its rooms. The interior features original furnishings and decor that create an authentic sense of early 20th century living spaces.

The house was built in 1925 as the home of John Colpitts Ainsley, a prominent figure in the local canning industry. The site helps tell the story of how the area changed from farmland into an industrial and residential community.

The museum operates Friday through Sunday from 11 AM to 3 PM with guided tours lasting about 45 minutes. Calling ahead to reserve a tour is recommended because group size is limited and walk-ins may not always be accommodated.

The surrounding garden space is regularly used for community events and private ceremonies throughout the year. This outdoor area reveals how property owners of that era designed and maintained their grounds as an extension of their homes.
