Lake Oswego High School is a public secondary school in Oregon with modern classrooms equipped with projectors and interactive teaching boards. The building includes a 500-seat theater used for student performances and presentations.
The school opened in September 1951 as a six-year institution and transitioned to a four-year high school in 1956. A campus renovation in 2005 led to construction issues that were subsequently addressed.
Students participate in numerous activities such as the Lake Views newspaper, Laker Log yearbook production, and competitive sports in the OSAA Three Rivers League.
The campus is walkable and clearly signed for visitors and parents. The modern facilities are well-organized and accessible throughout.
The institution received a settlement of 6.7 million dollars in 2012 to address construction defects that developed after the 2005 campus renovation.
