Lewisville Park, Historic district in Clark County, United States.
Lewisville Park is a historic district spanning 159 acres with old-growth fir trees, mountain streams, and multiple trails along the East Fork Lewis River. The grounds contain thirteen reservable picnic shelters, baseball fields, playgrounds, and a boat launch for river access.
The park was built in 1936 through the Works Progress Administration, a federal relief program during the Great Depression. It gained National Register of Historic Places recognition in 1986 for its intact Depression-era facilities.
The buildings throughout the park display Northwest rustic style, designed by architect William J. Paeth to fit the natural surroundings. These structures shape how visitors experience the grounds and reflect how public recreation spaces were built during the Depression era.
The grounds feature wide trails suitable for walking, fishing, and boating along the river. Reserving picnic areas in advance is recommended, especially if visiting with larger groups.
The park represents a complete collection of recreational facilities built by Depression-era federal relief programs, with most structures and amenities still intact. Few parks from this period preserve such a comprehensive range of original facilities in working condition.
