Vancouver House

Vancouver House is a 59-story residential tower with an unusual shape, starting as a triangle at the base and shifting into a rectangle as it rises. The structure is made of reinforced concrete and contains apartments spread across multiple floors with access to elevators and standard residential amenities.

Construction on this residential tower began in 2016 and was completed in summer 2020, with the project developed by Westbank Projects Corporation. The building came together over those four years to create the structure now visible along the waterfront.

The building was designed by a Danish architectural firm and intentionally fits within the setting of the Granville Bridge and the waterfront below. The way it shifts from one side to another echoes what visitors experience when moving around this corner of the city.

The balconies on the exterior are arranged in a honeycomb pattern, creating a visual distinction from other buildings in the area. When exploring the waterfront, the tower is easy to spot and reach from the Granville Bridge nearby.

The balconies are not simple rectangles but form striking box-shaped structures that stand out from a distance. This pattern covers the entire exterior and gives the building a modern, geometric look that many visitors overlook.
