Wenberg County Park, County park at Lake Goodwin, Snohomish County, United States
Wenberg County Park is a recreational area situated along Lake Goodwin in Snohomish County. The grounds spread across roughly 45 acres and include a designated swimming area plus a concrete boat launch for water access.
Management of this recreation area passed from Washington State Parks to Snohomish County in 2009 during a period when the state redirected funding for recreational facilities. The change allowed for local stewardship and ongoing improvements to the grounds.
The park received the Washington Recreation and Parks Association Spotlight Award for Outdoor Space in 2021 for excellence in design and management.
The grounds feature 70 camping sites spread across three areas with varying utility options to suit different visitor needs. Check in advance what facilities match your setup requirements, as each section offers different levels of service.
Along the eastern shore sits an enclosed swim beach complete with rinse facilities and three standalone picnic pavilions. These sections give bathers and visiting groups comfortable spaces to gather throughout the year.
