Virgin Valley Heritage Museum, Local museum and historic site in Mesquite, Nevada.
The Virgin Valley Heritage Museum presents photographs, documents, and artifacts depicting the development of the Virgin Valley region from 1875 to 1935.
Constructed by the National Youth Administration in 1940, this Pueblo Revival style building initially functioned as a library before serving as a hospital until 1977.
The museum maintains collections representing early pioneer settlers, Native American heritage, and agricultural practices that shaped the Virgin Valley community.
Located at 35 West Mesquite Boulevard, the museum welcomes visitors Tuesday through Saturday between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM with free admission.
The building underwent multiple transformations, from library to hospital to Boy Scout meeting hall, before becoming a museum listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
