Château de Versainville

Château de Versainville is a classified historical monument with a main block containing nine bays and a corner pavilion, extended by a west wing added in 1902. The property sits within grounds featuring a garden laid out with paths and water features.

François-Joseph de Marguerit initiated building works in 1715, with construction completed by 1730 during the reign of King Louis XV. The castle later experienced a transformation in its use during the 20th century that shaped its modern identity.

The garden features ancient trees, a pond, and pathways that appear in the preliminary inventory of notable French gardens and reflect how the grounds were meant to be experienced.
