Chapelle de Trémalo

Chapelle de Trémalo is a Gothic chapel built from granite with a rectangular shape and a bell tower styled after Cornish design. The western side features buttresses at each corner, while the south wall displays carved stone figures as decoration.

The chapel was built in the 1500s by a local family whose emblems appear near the choir inside. It served the nearby parish community for centuries, establishing itself as a lasting religious landmark in the region.

Inside sits a wooden Christ figure painted in bright colors that drew artists to this place in the 1800s and shaped their work. This religious sculpture remains a focal point for visitors who connect art history to the chapel's spiritual role.
