West Jordan

West Jordan is a city in Salt Lake County that stretches west of the Jordan River and mixes residential areas, business districts, and green spaces. The place combines neighborhoods with commercial zones and offers various public facilities.

The settlement began in 1849 when Mormon pioneers built mills along the Jordan River and created the industrial foundation of the region. These early facilities shaped the city's development and economic story.
