Utah Museum of Fine Arts, Art museum at University of Utah, Salt Lake City, United States.
The Utah Museum of Fine Arts occupies a 74,000-square-foot building with dedicated galleries for Japanese, African, Chinese, European, and American art collections.
The institution began in 1914 as a small gallery in the University Park Building and expanded to its current location in the Marcia and John Price Museum Building in 2001.
The museum maintains nearly 20,000 original artworks representing diverse global cultures, from ancient Mediterranean civilizations to contemporary artistic expressions.
Located near Rice-Eccles Stadium, the museum offers guided tours, studio classes, and rotating exhibitions that change every two to three months.
In 2004, the museum returned François Boucher's painting 'Les Amoureaux Jeunes' to the legitimate heirs after identifying it as stolen during the Holocaust.
