Maverik Center

Maverik Center is a multi-purpose hall in West Valley City, Utah that hosts sports events, concerts, and other large gatherings. The facility offers a main floor that can accommodate between 3,700 and 12,000 people depending on the setup, along with additional spaces for meetings and corporate functions.

The hall opened in September 1997 and served as the ice hockey venue during the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City. After the games, it continued to function as a major event space for the region, hosting both local and touring productions.

The arena regularly presents diverse entertainment programs, from professional ice hockey matches of Utah Grizzlies to performances by international musical artists.

The entrance sits on 3200 South Street, with parking areas around the building and views toward the Wasatch Range to the east. The hall offers multiple food and drink stands throughout the space, so visitors can find refreshments during events.

The facility uses a specialized sound system that maintains consistent audio quality even when the number of seats changes for different events. This technical setup allows both smaller gatherings and larger shows to sound equally clear without noticeable shifts in acoustics.
