Aquatic Hall of Fame and Museum of Canada

The Aquatic Hall of Fame and Museum occupies 10,000 square feet within the Pan Am Pool complex on Poseidon Bay in Winnipeg.

Established in 1970, this institution stands as the oldest incorporated sports museum in Canada, initially built following the 1967 Pan American Games.

The museum maintains the National Archives for Aquatic Sports, preserving records and artifacts from swimming, diving, water polo, and synchronized swimming competitions.

The Royal Gallery, located at 25 Poseidon Bay, contains exhibition spaces, a board room, curatorial offices, and archival storage facilities.

In 1997, this institution received an official Coat of Arms from the Canadian Heraldic Authority, marking it as the first hall of fame with this distinction.
