Bois de la Bâtie, Forest and playground area in Geneva, Switzerland.

The Bois de la Bâtie extends across 12 hectares, featuring numerous oak trees and walking paths along the convergence of Rhône and Arve rivers.

The park emerged in 1874 when the Turrettini brothers donated the land to Geneva with a stipulation to preserve it for future generations.

The site integrates environmental education through its zoological park, which focuses on the protection and study of endangered species.

The park contains Geneva's largest playground, two restaurants, football fields, and remains accessible 24 hours daily throughout the year.

From its elevated position, the park rises 20 meters above Geneva's Old Town, offering views across the city and surrounding basin.
