Deer Valley, Mountain and ski resort in Park City, US
Deer Valley is a ski and mountain resort in Park City spread across approximately 2,000 acres of mountainous terrain. The property includes around 120 ski runs suited to different skill levels from beginner to advanced.
Edgar B. Stern Jr. founded Deer Valley in the 1980s, transforming the mountainside into a ski resort with high standards. The project was designed from the start to create a refined winter destination.
The resort follows a philosophy that welcomes only skiers and snowboarders, creating a specific type of mountain experience. Visitors quickly notice that daily access is controlled to keep the slopes from becoming crowded.
The mountain is served by around 24 lifts including gondolas and high-speed chair lifts that transport visitors across the property. Most of the terrain is covered by snowmaking systems to maintain conditions throughout the season.
The resort features one of the longest continuous ski runs in the region, stretching down the mountain for several kilometers. This particular run attracts skiers who prefer long, uninterrupted descents.
