Dedisse Park

Dedisse Park is an urban park in Jefferson County offering extensive natural terrain with multiple recreational facilities. The property includes designated hiking trails, picnic areas, a dam structure on Bear Creek, and the Evergreen Lake where visitors can spend time outdoors.

The land was privately owned by pioneer Julius C. Dedisse until 1919 when Denver acquired the property through legal proceedings. The area was subsequently converted into a public park to serve the community.

The park represents the National Park Service rustic architectural style, integrating natural materials and design elements within the mountain environment.

The Evergreen Golf Course opened here in 1925 as one of Colorado's early mountain golf venues. The facility includes the Keys on the Green restaurant, which has served visitors for decades.
