Boyd Lake State Park

Boyd Lake State Park is a nature reserve with a large lake and recreational facilities near Loveland. The lake is surrounded by woodland and open areas where visitors can camp, hike, or fish.

The reservoir was created in the early 1900s as an engineering project to support water needs in the region. Later the area was established as a state park and remains today a public recreational area.
