Rosenwald Hall

Rosenwald Hall is a single-story wooden school building in Lima with a gable roof and simple construction. The structure shows the basic, functional design typical of educational facilities built in this era for rural communities.

The building was completed in 1927 as part of the Rosenwald Fund, a major program that financed schools for African American students. This effort resulted in the construction of thousands of similar schools throughout the American South.
