The chateau features a four-wing structure arranged around a rectangular courtyard with Renaissance arcades and a Baroque entrance tower from 1744.
Originally built as a Gothic castle in the 13th century, the structure underwent transformation into a Renaissance mansion between 1580 and 1583.
The Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague manages the chateau, displaying collections of furniture, wrought ironwork, and traditional toys within its halls.
From May to September, visitors can explore the chateau Tuesday through Sunday between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM, with winter hours ending at 3:00 PM.
An English garden surrounds the chateau, containing a massive linden tree dating back 700 to 800 years, which influenced the town's name.
