Kuwait Entertainment City, Amusement park in western Kuwait City, Kuwait.
Kuwait Entertainment City was a large amusement park with multiple themed zones offering roller coasters, water rides, and children's playgrounds. The park spread across a vast area and drew visitors with different types of attractions.
The park opened in 1984 and was one of the first major amusement parks in the Middle East region. During the Iraqi occupation from 1990 to 1991, many rides were damaged and removed.
Different zones presented Middle Eastern architecture and traditional design elements through decorations and layout. A narrow-gauge railway built in the 1980s connected these themed areas.
Most areas were accessible to family groups and offered different difficulty levels for various age ranges. Visitors should know the location closed in 2016 and is no longer operated as the original park.
The narrow-gauge railway was a standout feature and was specially manufactured for the park in the 1980s. This detail made it particularly memorable for visitors and in local memory.
