Souq Sharq

Souq Sharq is a two-story marketplace in Sharq with about 70 shops and 20 restaurants positioned along the waterfront. The stores offer clothing, electronics, traditional crafts, and local products, spreading across the length of the Gulf Street with water views.

The marketplace was built in the late 1990s and reflects the modernization of Kuwait's retail sector during that period. The project was part of broader waterfront development that showed the city's shift toward new commercial centers.
