The Church of Mariahilf extends 55 meters in length and 25 meters in width, featuring six chapels decorated with frescoes by Johann Hauzinger and Franz Strattmann.
Construction of this parish church began in 1686 under architect Sebastiano Carlone, followed by a substantial redesign by Franz Jänggl between 1711 and 1715.
The interior displays religious narratives through elaborate baroque artworks, including a pulpit from 1720 with gilt sculptures and representations of biblical elements.
The church maintains regular mass services and welcomes visitors throughout the week, situated near public transportation routes in Vienna's sixth district.
The organ, constructed in 1763 by Johann Hencke, remains a testament to Austrian craftsmanship and adds to the architectural significance of this religious structure.
