Christ Church

Christ Church is an Anglican worship building constructed in the Gothic Revival style with pointed arches and ornate stone tracery adorning its windows. Both the exterior facade and interior spaces display the soaring vertical lines typical of this architectural movement.

The building was completed in 1898 after the British community secured permission to construct an Anglican church under embassy protection. This milestone marked the establishment of a permanent house of worship for English speakers in Vienna.
