Arnulf Rainer Museum, Contemporary art museum in Baden, Austria
The Arnulf Rainer Museum occupies a former women's bathhouse, featuring a French Neoclassical architectural design with high ceilings and spacious exhibition halls.
Built in 1821 based on Charles de Moreau's design, the building served as a women's bathhouse until 1973 before its transformation into an exhibition center.
The museum presents rotating exhibitions of Arnulf Rainer's works, including paintings, drawings, sculptures, prints, and photographs spanning different creative periods.
Guided tours occur every Saturday, Sunday, and holiday at 3 PM, with additional educational workshops available for children, teenagers, and adults.
The museum opened in 2009 after a 2 million euro renovation, combining contemporary art displays with classical spa architecture.
