Friedensglocke des Alpenraumes, Peace bell in Telfs, Austria
The Peace Bell of the Alpine Region stands in Mösern, featuring a massive bronze structure weighing 10,450 kilograms with a diameter of 2.54 meters.
The bell was inaugurated in 1997 to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Alpine Countries Working Community, promoting collaboration between Alpine nations.
The exterior walls display the emblem of Arge Alp and the coats of arms of its ten member countries, representing the unity of Alpine regions.
Visitors can reach the bell via a 90-minute walking trail starting at the Seewald-Alm parking lot, with free access throughout the year.
The bell rings daily at 17:00, sending a sound message of peace across the Inn Valley from its position at 1,180 meters above sea level.
