Telfs

Telfs is a market town in the Innsbruck-Land district situated at 634 meters elevation in a mountain valley. The town spans a wide area and serves as a local center for the western part of the region.

The settlement grew over many decades in this mountain region and eventually became an important local community. In 1908, the town gained the status of a market municipality and received a district court, reflecting its growing importance at that time.
