Felsenbühne Staatz

Felsenbühne Staatz is an open-air theater located at the base of Staatz Mountain with approximately 1,200 seats arranged against a natural rock formation. The stage is framed by cliffs and forest, with the surrounding landscape serving as a built-in backdrop for performances.

The theater was founded in the late 1980s and initially hosted Karl May festivals under the direction of actor Paul Robert Roberts. From 2000 onward, it shifted focus to present annual summer musical productions.
