Schloss Weinberg

Schloss Weinberg is a Renaissance castle in Kefermarkt with 36 guest rooms, multiple event spaces, and an English landscape garden featuring outdoor areas. The property contains several historic rooms and grounds for visitors to explore.

The castle was first documented in the 13th century and developed from Gothic to Renaissance style under the Zelkinger family. In 1629 the Thürheim nobility acquired it and shaped its later development.

The Ahnensaal features original stucco ceiling work from 1604 that visitors can admire today. The Kaisersaal displays Renaissance details and serves as a venue for ceremonies, concerts, and special events.

The castle has good access for visitors with mobility needs and provides Wi-Fi throughout the property. Regular guided tours are available to help visitors understand the rooms and grounds.

The Waffenkammer, a former weapons storage room from the 19th century, was converted into the main entrance hall connecting the Kaisersaal and Rittersaal. Visitors can still spot traces of this military past.
