Stadtpark Graz, Public park in central Graz, Austria
The Stadtpark spans 12.6 hectares of green space, featuring numerous walking paths, landscaped gardens, and over 2000 trees in the heart of Graz.
Established in 1869 on former military grounds, the park was completed in 1872 under Mayor Moritz Ritter von Franck following a land exchange with military administration.
The park contains 600 cast-iron benches and an open-air gallery displaying busts and monuments that represent Styrian cultural history through the centuries.
Located at Stadtpark 1, 8010 Graz, this freely accessible park provides recreational spaces, children's playgrounds, and multiple cafes for visitors throughout the day.
The central fountain, originally created for the 1873 Vienna World Exhibition, was purchased by Graz in 1874 and remains a focal point of the park.
