Innerberger Stadel, Heritage building in Steyr, Austria
The Innerberger Stadel stands with Renaissance architecture at the Grünmarkt, displaying rich sgraffito decorations and a double-headed eagle coat of arms on its facade.
Built between 1612 and 1613, the structure initially served as a provision store before the Innerberger Hauptgewerkschaft acquired it in 1628 for iron trade operations.
The building houses the Museum of the City of Steyr, presenting exhibits about local iron industry history and featuring the traditional Steyrer Kripperl puppet collection.
Visitors can explore the museum Wednesday through Saturday from 10:00 to 17:00 and Sundays from 10:00 to 16:00, with adult tickets priced at 7 euros.
The structure maintains its original wooden beam ceilings and vaulted ground floor, while an iron water spout protrudes from between its two distinctive roofs.
