Regensburger Hof

The original medieval structure, which served as a merchant hub, was demolished in 1896 and rebuilt in 1897 by architect Neumann. This reconstruction reflected Vienna's shift toward modern commerce and urban development in the late 1800s.

The building represents the evolution of Viennese commerce, from its origins as a merchant gathering place to its current retail establishment status.
