The Mozart-Platane is a mature oriental plane tree located at Rennweg 14 in Vienna's third district, distinguished by its large branches and thick canopy. It stands in an urban setting and receives official protection as a natural monument.

The oriental plane at Rennweg 14 has been a protected Vienna natural monument since 22 December 1936, listed as number 9. Its age is not documented; estimates put it at roughly 230 years. A memorial stone beside it names it the "Jacquin-Platane", planted around 1780 while Nikolaus Joseph von Jacquin directed the Botanical Garden. A boundary change later left the tree standing on the pavement outside the institute's fence.

The name Mozart-Platane comes from a tradition that Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart passed the tree regularly on his way to give piano lessons at the house of botanist Nikolaus Joseph von Jacquin. A memorial stone anchored in the ground beside the tree, however, calls it the "Jacquin-Platane" and dates its planting to around 1780, during Jacquin's time as director of the Botanical Garden.

The tree is located at Rennweg 14 in the third district and is accessible by public transportation. It is best viewed from the street, as it stands in a residential neighborhood.
