Thermalstrandbad Baden

Thermalstrandbad Baden is a public thermal bath and outdoor swimming pool with two 50-meter pools, natural thermal water basins, massage jets, and a palm island recreation area. The facility sprawls across a large site with distinct bathing zones and recreational spaces for different activities.

The facility was designed with a protected Art Deco facade created by architect Alois Bohn and added to the official heritage register. This building reflects the architectural style of that period while supporting the ongoing use of natural thermal springs.

The facility blends traditional Austrian bathing culture with contemporary leisure in a public setting that welcomes everyone. Locals and visitors alike gather here to enjoy the natural thermal waters in a way that reflects local habits and preferences.

The site is well laid out with clear paths connecting different bathing areas and multiple entry points for easy access. Additional sports facilities in the surrounding park area, including volleyball courts and soccer fields, are available during the season.

The site features one of Austria's largest sandy beaches with natural sulfur thermal waters flowing into dedicated pools. This combination brings the feel of a beach resort together with therapeutic natural springs in a single location.
