WUK

WUK is a cultural center housed in a former industrial building in northern Vienna that contains exhibition spaces, performance areas, workshops, and various cultural gatherings. The repurposed structure offers a range of rooms from small galleries to larger event spaces.

The building was once part of the Maschinenfabrik industrial complex but was later converted into a cultural facility. The transformation allowed the space to take on new life under the management of WUK Verein zur Schaffung offener Kultur.

The center houses artist studios and rehearsal spaces where creators work on their projects and share their output with visitors. These rooms are integral to the daily creative process and allow guests to observe artistic activity directly.

The various rooms and events are accessible through different entrances, and wheelchair accessibility features are available on-site. The location offers good connections with public transportation from different parts of the city.
