Veitsberg

Veitsberg is a mountain summit in the Thiersee region near Kufstein that rises to 1830 meters above sea level. The peak connects through various trails to neighboring elevations, creating options for hikers exploring the area.

Shepherds have used the mountainside for centuries to graze their flocks, with their old paths forming the foundation of many hiking routes today. Over time these traditional passages were maintained and marked to make them accessible for visitors.

The best time for hiking runs from June through September when snow has melted and conditions remain stable. Wear sturdy footwear and bring water, as the paths are steep with few rest spots.
