Vorwärts Stadium, Football stadium in Steyr, Austria

Vorwärts Stadium is a football stadium in Steyr with a natural grass surface and no running track, bringing spectators very close to the field. The venue holds approximately 6,000 seats and provides standard facilities for both players and visitors.

A first stadium opened on Volksstraße in 1920. The current ground, with covered stands to the south and west and two open stands, was inaugurated on 20 September 1986. It was renovated in 2007, and in July 2018 an irrigation system was installed. The stadium took the name LIWEST Arena for the 2022/23 season, then reverted to Vorwärts-Stadion in March 2026 after a crowdfunding campaign.

The stadium serves as a gathering place for SK Vorwärts Steyr supporters who come together on match days to cheer for their local team. The crowd creates an energetic setting that defines the experience of watching football here.

The ground sits on Volksstraße, known as the Stadion an der Volksstraße, in Steyr, Upper Austria. Two stands are covered, the Fantribüne to the south and the Haupttribüne to the west, while the other two are open to the sky. Plan for open-air seating in wet or cold weather.
