Saints Peter and Paul Church

The church features a tall western tower with a pointed helmet roof and incorporates a single-nave design with rounded arch arcades leading to the chancel.

The church received its consecration by Bishop Bernhard von Kraiburg in 1474, with the western tower completed in 1546 during the late Gothic architectural period.

The Filzmooser Kindl, a representation of the blessing infant Jesus surrounded by golden rays in a glass shrine, forms the center of this pilgrimage church.

The church maintains regular Catholic services, with the patron saints Peter and Paul celebrated annually on June 29th through special religious ceremonies.

The church interior contains preserved 16th-century frescoes on the northern nave wall, which underwent professional cleaning and preservation work in 1996.
