The Wallfahrtskirche Frauenberg features a two-bay nave, single-bay choir with flat dome vaults, and a western facade marked with twin portals dated 1646.
First documented in 1170, the church underwent major reconstruction after a fire in 1604, with western extensions completed between 1645 and 1646 by Milanese architect Bartholomäus Montianus.
Regular masses occur every Sunday morning at 8:30, while monthly pilgrimages take place on the 13th of each month at 7:00 PM.
The church remains open daily from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with guided tours available through advance booking at +43 664 73900909.
The church stands on a hill where archaeological excavations revealed remains of a Celtic-Roman temple dedicated to Isis Noreia during the 1950s.
