Wallfahrtskirche Frauenberg, Leibnitz

The Wallfahrtskirche Frauenberg is a pilgrimage church located in Leibnitz that sits on a hilltop and can be seen from a distance. The structure features a two-part nave, a choir with barrel vaults, and distinctive double doors on the western side.

The church was first documented in 1170 and is among the oldest structures in the region. After a destructive fire in 1604, the building was substantially rebuilt, and an Italian architect completed major extensions to the western side between 1645 and 1646.
