Wolfersberg, Mountain summit in Penzing district, Austria.

Wolfersberg is a 322-metre hill in Vienna's 14th district, Penzing, rising in the Hütteldorf district part between the valleys of the Wien river and the Halterbach stream. Its mostly undeveloped summit belongs to the Penzing landscape protection area, and the hill is part of the Vienna Woods range. The summit and the neighbouring Bierhäuselberg consist of limestone marl and calcareous sandstone of the Kahlenberg Formation.

Named after wolves once native to the Wienfluss floodplains, the hill passed to Vienna with Hütteldorf's incorporation in 1890. In 1916 trenches and fortifications were dug on the slope, and in the winter after the war the hill was completely cleared of trees because Vienna lacked firewood. From 1920 the settlers' association Gesellschaft für Innenkolonisation built on the hill; the first house was occupied in 1921 and 60 houses were financed with Quaker support.

The name Wolfersberg recalls the wolves once native to the Wienfluss floodplains; a Wolfsgarten here held animals for imperial hunting until the mid-17th century. On the summit meadow, officially Parkanlage Wolfersberg, the Wiener Volksbildungsverein ran a summer school from 1923 to 1937. Streets in the Planetenviertel on the eastern slope are named after celestial bodies.

The mostly unbuilt summit lies in the Penzing landscape protection area, reached on foot from Hütteldorf and Hadersdorf-Weidlingau. The summit meadow, officially Parkanlage Wolfersberg, has two playgrounds and a long-used football pitch west of the water tower. The gap between the mountain and the Lainzer Tiergarten hills traps cold air, so nights in Mariabrunn can be several degrees colder than elsewhere in the city.

The Wolfersberg summit is crowned by a water tower completed in 1950, and the adjoining Lagerwiese meadow, officially Parkanlage Wolfersberg, has hosted a long-used football pitch west of the tower. The meadow has been a meeting place for local residents since 1945 and holds two playgrounds.
