Eiblkogel, Mountain summit in Übelbach, Austria
The Eiblkogel reaches an elevation of 1831 meters and features a broad grass-covered ridge stretching from northeast to southwest within the Gleinalpe region.
The Kreuzsattel passage at 1583 meters served as an alternative route for merchants compared to the traditional Gleinalmsattel path through the mountains.
The Eiblkogel summit forms part of the European long-distance path E6, connecting with both the Central Alpine Path and North-South Long-Distance Path networks.
Visitors can reach the summit from Übelbach using forest roads that lead to Lammkogel, followed by unmarked paths to the peak.
The mountain contains two distinct peaks: the main Eiblkogel at 1831 meters and an unnamed secondary summit at 1807 meters.
