Prosseggklamm, Alpine gorge in Matrei in Osttirol, Austria

Prosseggklamm is a gorge of the Tauernbach near the hamlet of Proßegg in the municipality of Matrei in Osttirol, East Tyrol. The stream cuts through the valley at an elevation of about 990 metres, with Matrei in Osttirol lying roughly 1.9 kilometres to the south. Mixed forest covers the slopes around the gorge.

The path through Prosseggklamm was once a section of the route up to the Felber Tauern, the mountain crossing above Matrei in Osttirol. It can be regarded as a predecessor of the Felbertauern Straße, which later carried traffic through the same valley.
