Villa Siegel stands on the southern shore of Lake Wörthersee, featuring a gable-front design and a lake-facing loggia topped with a steep hip roof.
The villa gained recognition as the summer residence of composer Gustav Mahler from 1900 to 1907, where he created his Fourth Symphony and parts of the Eighth Symphony.
The property includes a dedicated single-room composing house equipped with a work desk, grand piano, bookcase, and stove for musical creation.
The villa maintains its original interior features from the construction period and sits along the Wörthersee South Shore Road, constructed in 1899.
Architect Friedrich Theurer designed the villa for Mahler after previously completing Villa Schwarzenfels between 1893 and 1894 in the same area.
