IKOB International Art Centre East Belgium, Art museum in Eupen, Belgium
IKOB International Art Centre East Belgium maintains four major temporary exhibitions throughout the year, presenting evolving trends in contemporary art through multimedia displays.
The museum emerged from the transformation of a former abattoir in Rotenbergplatz during the early 1990s, opening its doors in 1993 under Francis Feidler's direction.
The museum collection contains over 400 artworks from international artists, including pieces by Günther Förg, Jacques Charlier, Lili Dujourie, and Jan Fabre.
Visitors can explore the museum daily between 1:00 PM and 6:00 PM, with entrance fees operating on a donation basis with a suggested contribution of 6 euros.
The IKOB Art Prize supports visual artists under 45 years old and specifically recognizes contributions to feminist art through annual or biennial awards.
