The Uplace development spans 100,000 square meters and incorporates multiple retail spaces, offices, and leisure facilities within its modern structure design.

The project originated from a vision to transform Mechelen's commercial landscape, leading to extensive planning phases and subsequent modifications between 2005 and 2020.

The development integrates spaces for Belgian businesses, art exhibitions, and community gatherings to strengthen local connections within the Mechelen area.

Located near major transport routes, the complex features substantial parking facilities and direct access to both public transportation and highway networks.

The project transformed into Broeklin after 15 years of legal proceedings, resulting in a complete redesign that reduced parking spaces and increased focus on manufacturing retail.
