Panorama of the Battle of Waterloo, Panoramic exhibition in Braine-l'Alleud, Belgium

The Panorama features a circular canvas painting measuring 110 meters in circumference and 12 meters in height, displaying the Battle of Waterloo scenes.

French artist Louis Dumoulin created this monumental panoramic painting in 1912 to commemorate the Battle of Waterloo that occurred in June 1815.

The rotunda combines architectural elements with painted scenes and physical models to present visitors with a detailed representation of the historical battle.

Located near the Lion's Mound monument, the panorama includes an elevated viewing platform at 5 meters height for optimal observation of the artwork.

The panorama remains one of the few preserved cycloramas in Europe that maintains its original location and complete 360-degree historical battle depiction.
