Typhoon

Typhoon is a steel roller coaster at Bobbejaanland featuring four inversions, including a vertical loop and double heartline roll. The ride has a compact layout that packs its elements into a small footprint.

The ride opened in 2004 as a Gerstlauer Euro-Fighter model, replacing an earlier coaster that had occupied the same site. This new installation marked a significant update to the park's attractions.

The roller coaster stands within Bobbejaanland, an entertainment venue established in 1959 by Belgian performer Bobbejaan Schoepen as a simple playground.

Visitors need to meet a minimum height requirement to ride. The coaster reaches high speeds and delivers an intense experience with multiple inversions throughout the journey.

The first drop begins at a 97-degree angle, making it the steepest on any coaster in the country. This nearly vertical plunge creates a sensation that goes beyond typical roller coaster thrills.
