Louizatoren is a modern office tower on Avenue Louise featuring 24 floors and extensive glass surfaces on its exterior. The building houses office spaces and residential apartments, with 13 elevators serving the different levels.
André and Jean Polak designed this tower in 1964, with construction completed by 1966 for the insurance company Assurances générales de Trieste. The project marked a shift toward contemporary office design in Brussels during that period.
The building represents a significant shift in Brussels' architectural development during the 1960s, introducing contemporary design principles to the urban landscape.
