Kallosluis, Maritime lock in Beveren, Belgium
The Kallosluis lock spans 360 meters in length, 48 meters in width, with a depth of 12.5 meters to handle large vessels.
Built in 1979, the Kallosluis lock served as the primary access point to the Waaslandhaven section of Antwerp Port until mid-2016.
The lock management building includes a cafeteria where port workers and visitors share meals while observing maritime operations.
