Kasteel Baudries, Heritage castle in Dikkelvenne, Belgium.

Kasteel Baudries is a neoclassical castle in Dikkelvenne that features grand halls and multiple rooms with Rococo-style ornaments and decorations. The grounds include gardens originally designed by Henri Duchêne, which frame the building and extend across the estate.

The castle underwent major transformations during the last quarter of the 19th century under the Ansembourg-Spangen family, acquiring its present neoclassical form. These changes gave it the appearance it maintains today.

The rooms display furniture and ornaments from the Louis XV and Louis XVI periods, mixed with Chinese-inspired decorative elements spanning different eras. This blend of European and exotic influences shapes how the interior looks and feels throughout.

The castle is a private residence and public access is not normally available. Occasional openings require advance arrangements through the local tourism office, which can provide information about visiting possibilities.

The estate's park features landscape designs from 1902 by Henri Duchêne, representing one of his final professional projects in Belgium. This garden work shows the mature approach of the renowned French landscape architect during his later years.
