The Madou Plaza Tower rises 120 meters into the Brussels skyline with 33 floors above ground and 3 underground levels.
Belgian architect Robert Goffaux designed this tower, which underwent a major transformation between 2002 and 2006 to increase its height from 112 to 120 meters.
The European Commission's Directorate-General for Competition moved its headquarters to this building after its renovation in 2006, bringing 1,500 employees.
The building contains 15 elevators and provides 40,000 square meters of office space, including an emergency generator in the basement.
The construction team completed the core structure in just over one month, matching the speed of New York's MetLife Building construction.
