Le Pass, Science museum in Frameries, Belgium

The museum features fifteen interactive exhibitions covering topics from chemistry to digital technology across 12,000 square meters of indoor space and 6,000 square meters outdoors.

The museum occupies a former coal mining site that underwent renovation by architect Jean Nouvel, transforming industrial heritage into an educational facility.

The Palace of Images presents films on five sides of a cube, creating an immersive experience with 100 square meters of projected content.

The facility operates from 9 AM to 4 PM during school terms and 10 AM to 6 PM during holidays, with free entry for children under four years old.

Visitors explore a terril, a coal mining slag heap that now serves as an outdoor learning space integrated into the museum's educational programming.
